Job Description:
Bud's Goods of NJ is seeking a motivated and personable Sales
Account Executive to drive wholesale cannabis sales across New
Jersey. This role focuses on acquiring new retail accounts,
building strong relationships with dispensaries, and increasing the
visibility of Bud's branded pre-roll products-such as party packs,
lil jays, and future SKUs. The ideal candidate is passionate about
cannabis, eager to hit goals, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly
regulated environment. Job Duties Identify, contact, and convert
new retail partners to carry Bud's products. Serve as the
day-to-day contact for dispensaries and build long-term
relationships. Deliver compelling product knowledge and educate
clients on Bud's offerings and differentiators. Conduct in-person
or virtual product demos, presentations, and sampling events.
Process purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and ensure
customer satisfaction post-sale. Organize travel and outreach
within a defined sales territory to maximize efficiency. Maintain
accurate records of sales activity, pipeline updates, and client
interactions using CRM tools. Report on competitive products,
pricing trends, and customer preferences. Ensure all activities
adhere to New Jersey cannabis regulations and Bud's internal SOPs.
Represent Bud's at trade shows, pop-ups, and industry events to
promote brand awareness. Core Competencies: Ability to create trust
based, long term partnerships with real clients and dispensary
buyers Confident and clear in explaining product value, handling
objectives and closing sales Deep understanding of cannabis
products, consumer trends, and regulatory compliance in New Jersey
Strong commitment to understanding client needs and delivering
exceptional service and support Efficiently plan routes, meetings,
and follow ups to maximize coverage and productivity Self-motivate
with a hunter mentality – persist in outreach, unshaken by
rejection and hungry to exceed goals Keeps accurate sales records,
leverages CRM tools and tracks performance metrics to drive results
Comfort navigating a fast-changing industry with evolving products,
regulations and market demands Works well with internal teams
(marketing, operations, compliance) to deliver seamless customer
experiences Acts with integrity and understands the importance of
working within the strict legal framework of cannabis sales
Experience and Education 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably
in cannabis, CPG, or a regulated industry Track record of meeting
or exceeding sales goals Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability
to work independently in a field-based role Familiarity with CRM
tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Preferred:
Experience in cannabis wholesale sales Knowledge of New Jersey
cannabis compliance regulations Strong passion for cannabis and
understanding of current market trends Additional Requirements Must
pass all required background checks Must have a reliable vehicle
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations
for working in the industry Must be able to lift 30lbs as needed
Must possess valid driver's license and Travel more than 50% of
time Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Must be approved by state
