SUMMARYThe primary focus of this role is to handle the inside sales
and customer care functions related to the Stonetech product line.
The responsibilities include generating leads, following up with
current customers, assessing potential leads and arranging meetings
through phone calls or virtual platforms to secure new business
opportunities. A crucial aspect of this position involves driving
revenue growth by actively engaging with existing and prospective
customers, understanding their requirements, and providing
excellent customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESAdditional duties and responsibilities may be
assigned as necessary.
- Daily Customer Calls & Prospecting (50%): Utilize a provided
list of customers to contact each of them on a quarterly basis.
- Complete 10-15 assigned calls per day to build and manage
current customer needs.
- Complete 10 assigned calls per day to new or previous customers
to introduce our product line or earn back their business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all customer
interactions, leads and sales activities using Salesforce.
- Identify and prospect potential customers through cold calling,
campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Conduct research to identify key decision makers within other
target companies.
- Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, budgetary
constraints, and timelines.
- Consult with prospects to assess their business objectives,
discuss the value proposition of the Stonetech line and align them
with their specific needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted
campaigns and strategies aimed at driving lead generation.
- Internal Rep Support (20%): Work with the internal Laticrete
Sales team to support their needs in the field.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to generate
accurate quotes and proposals for potential customers based on
their needs and requirements.
- Ensure that all quotes, proposals, special pricing, and
paperwork is prepared in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the field sales reps to gather relevant
information and feedback from the field, helping to improve the
quality of the sales process.
- Maintain open lines of communication with field sales reps,
addressing any questions, contracts, or issues they many have
related to quotes, proposals, special pricing or contracts.
- Continuously seek feedback from field sales reps and
stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service (20%): Develop superior customer service
relationships with prospects.
- Handle incoming customer calls, emails, chats or messages
promptly and courteously.
- Address customer inquiries and assist them with product
information, order status, pricing, warranty questions or
submittals and other concerns they may have.
- Accurately record and track customer interactions, issues, and
resolutions in Salesforce.
- Always maintain a positive and empathetic attitude toward
customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Offer appropriate solutions and alternatives to customers while
ensuring company policy and procedures are always followed.
- Nurture and maintain relationships with existing customers to
ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Monthly Reporting (10%):
- Prepare monthly reports that include details on sales
activities, such as the number of sales calls made, meetings
conducted/initiated.
- Provide explanations and insights on monthly sales performance,
highlighting any notable trends or deviations from targets.
- Maintain and update the account business plan monthly, ensuring
it aligns with the company's overall sales and business
objectives.
- Track and report on KPIs for sales revenue, customer
acquisitions rate, customer retention rate and average deal
value.
- Communicate any challenges or barriers that may be impacting
sales performance and propose solutions or strategies for
improvement.
- Continuously monitor and review the effectiveness of the
monthly reporting process, making any necessary adjustments or
improvements needed.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this

Experience:
- 1 -3 years sales experience, within the construction industry
preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Specialized
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with targeted
customer base.
- Successful salesperson, comfortable in complex multi-decision
maker environment.
- Proven ability to cold call, and secure sales/opportunities on
targeted list.
- Keen attention to detail.
- High level of self-motivation.
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of presentation tools.
Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in Salesforce
preferred.
- Team cooperation - maintain a positive, cooperative attitude
with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, clear
credit report and a good driving record.Travel Requirement:
- Less than 10%Physical Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment physical.
- Lift: Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 20
pounds.
- Push/Pull: Must be able to push/pull 20 pounds.
- Stand: Must be able to stand 50-75% of the day.
