team through our employee recognition programs Job Description:Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd Shift, which operates Monday through Friday from 11pm to 7am, with some weekends.
Pay Rate:
USDA $18.25, Shift Premium maybe included.About the Role: The Packer role at the Lancaster PA location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Ensures that product is free from contamination by following rules of good manufacturing practices for disease control, personal practices, and uniform policyEnsures product protection by checking package integrity for good seals, proper price, code date, tape color, and product quality according to standard procedures #16 and #17 of Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP)Works in a team to pack product by assembling boxes, taking sealed bags of product off automated conveyor line, taping boxes, and placing on skid; pull sealed cases off automated packaging lines; or filling kegs and placing lids on containersRecognizes problems; shuts down machine and/or alerts machine operator according to standard proceduresPrepares cases for use on the next shift by stickering information on the side of the box to include brand name, quantity in case, weight of gag, product type, if no salt, and UPC code from back of the bagAbout You:You'll fit right in if you have:Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and writtenExperience in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing a plusThe ability to work overtime and weekends Your TreeHouse Foods Career is Just a Click Away!
