Encompass Health Mechanicsburg seeks a qualified and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our integrated healthcare team. This role involves assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, enhancing patient outcomes through specialized therapeutic techniques. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to tailor interventions based on individual patient needs, contributing to holistic treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and well-being. Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities to diagnose disorders and craft individualized treatment plans. Implement targeted therapies based on patient needs and conditions, including voice disorder exercises, articulation techniques, and alternative communication methods. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about speech disorders and communication strategies, fostering an environment that supports recovery and adaptation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care. Expertise in various speech therapy techniques and diagnostics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in handling speech therapy equipment and tools. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
