PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Combined Procedural
Unit Duration: 12 months Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Hours per Shift:
10 Experience: Minimum 1 year in an acute hospital setting License:
State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact
license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Telemetry Must-Have: 2
years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience
Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating
patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans,
implements, and documents nursing care based on patients' needs.
Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through
assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops,
implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for
assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiates assessment based on patients' problems or needs, the
physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages the care of
patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice,
patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for
evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of
evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides
patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing
practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule Notes: Hybrid nurses able to work in the ICU, Pre-op, and
PACU area. Required Skills and Experience: Must be telemetry
certified. Preferred Skills and Experience: 3 years PACU
experience. Required Education: ASN Preferred Education: BSN
