Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: York, PA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred, 1 year acceptable for first-time travelers License: Active RN License required, no license hits accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Ability to care for COVID patients Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Description: This position requires a registered nurse specialized in medical surgical and telemetry care. The shift is during the night, working three 12-hour shifts weekly. Weekend coverage is required every other week and holiday coverage as needed. Nights shift starts at 18:45 and ends at 07:15. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with first-time travelers accepted. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. Epic charting experience is preferred. The candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical assessment is passed and meets guidelines, the candidate will be sent for a final interview. Candidates may be asked to float to rehabilitation units if needed. The facility has a total of 56 beds, with a focus on high acuity medical surgical patients. Patient diagnoses include pulmonary conditions, end-stage renal disease, stroke overflow, and alcohol withdrawal. The environment supports interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The unit operates under standard healthcare precautions, including isolation and PPE protocols. Candidates should be prepared to care for patients needing insulin management, tracheostomy care, and other complex medical interventions. Pre-approved time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Floating may be required as necessary depending on unit needs. This opportunity includes managing patients with a variety of medical needs in a fast-paced environment.
