Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This role involves working under the supervision of our Physical Therapists to implement targeted therapy plans that help patients recover and improve their physical functionalities. Our PTAs play a critical role in providing hands-on therapy and contributing to the assessment and documentation of patient progress. At Tender Touch, we pride ourselves on creating customized therapy solutions, ensuring each patient receives personal and professional care. Assist physical therapists in carrying out specific therapy exercises and treatment for patients. Document patient responses and progress to treatments, updating the supervising therapist on the outcomes. Help in the development and modification of individual patient care plans. Maintain equipment and space used for therapy sessions. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Proficient in using therapy equipment and techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong observational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow detailed instructions Basic computer skills for maintaining digital records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license Completion of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program CPR certification is recommended
