Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working
with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in West Islip,
New York, 11795! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
with level 1 or level 2 trauma experience required. License: Valid
state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
required. Must-Have: Recent emergency room experience. Description:
Candidates must provide interview availability in EST for the next
two business days. Local candidates are within 75 miles. Only one
time off request is allowed within the contract duration. The
facility is a 437-bed teaching hospital with a level II trauma
center. Uniform is scrubs, which can be all white, all navy, or a
combination of both colors. 4x12-hour shifts are preferred;
3x12-hour shifts may be considered. Experience with charting
systems is required, preferably with Epic. Prior charge experience
is preferred. Candidates must have experience in an emergency
department. Experience with trauma level II care is required.
Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults,
pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily visits to the emergency
department are approximately 240. The unit has 65 rooms with 108
beds. Supervisory clinical references will be required.
Consideration for travel assignments may be given to candidates
with extensive experience. It is crucial for all nurses to have a
