As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Red Rock Job Corps Center, you will play a pivotal role in providing quality healthcare services to our students. Your responsibilities will include administering care, managing health records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and safety of our diverse student population. If you are a caring and dedicated healthcare professional, ready to contribute to the well-being of young individuals, we encourage Schedule Mondays thru Fridays – WEEKENDS OFF Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to students, including medication administration, wound care, and routine health assessments. Health Education: Collaborate with students to promote health education, preventive care, and overall wellness. Conduct individual and group health education sessions. Health Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, assess situations, and provide prompt and effective care. Collaborate with emergency response teams as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and address the unique needs of students. LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required. A minimum of one year of health care experience preferred.
