Job Description:
The Leadership and Professional Development Associate Director
is accountable for informing and supporting the deployment of the
leadership and professional development strategy across Gartner,
primarily for VPs. This position designs and implements development
programs, curricula and content that support Gartner's business
objectives. This role impacts the organization by assessing senior
leadership-based challenges and creating high-impact development
solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in
shaping and executing Gartner's leadership development strategy,
ensuring the growth and success of top-tier leaders.What You'll
Do:
- Own and execute the design, development and delivery of
leadership programs and interventions for organizational leaders
that result in measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with the VP of Leadership Development to assess
leadership development needs and identify areas for growth and
improvement. Support the establishment and execution of Gartner's
strategic leadership development roadmap.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including HR, Talent
Management, and Executive Leadership, to ensure alignment and
integration of leadership development initiatives with broader
talent management strategies. Provide consultation as needed.
- Conduct needs assessments and utilize data-driven insights to
identify skill gaps and development opportunities for VP+
leaders.
- Analyze evaluation and measurement data to highlight strengths
and opportunities related to program effectiveness.
- Coach leaders on 360 feedback and other assessment results,
typically when connected to a leadership development event or
program.
- Oversee the development of leadership tools and materials such
as handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids,
computer tutorials, and knowledge validation tests. Ensures the
most effective method is utilized.
- Facilitate leadership development and learning programs,
workshops, events, and activities.
- Build implementation plans that result in high-quality
participant experiences, scalable processes, ongoing program
sustainability and cost-effective resource use.
- Work collaboratively across the team and with internal
stakeholders, provide and receive feedback openly, and have high
standards for self and others.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in
leadership development to ensure program relevance and
effectiveness.What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years' relevant HR experience
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- People management experience
- Strong project management skills and problem-solving skills,
with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
simultaneously.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership
development programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills -
demonstrated ability to bring concepts to life through visual
design
- Strong knowledge of leadership theories, models, and best
practices.
- Demonstrated experience in executive coaching, leadership
executive consultation, and high-level leadership development
support.
- Ability to gain an in-depth understanding and analyze key
business drivers, strategy goals, and challenges to effectively
support the organization.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Establishes
a high level of credibility quickly; appropriate confidence to gain
the trust and respect of key stakeholders and leaders.
- Negotiates well in difficult situations, with a deep
sensitivity to cultural and regional differences.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate program

believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the
base salary range for this role is 106,000 USD - 145,000 USD.
Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be
above or below the range, based on factors including, but not
limited to, education, training, experience, professional
achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base
salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan
based on company and individual performance, or a role-based,
uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will
