Job Description:
Engineering Projects Manager The Opportunity Our client is a
national innovator of construction building materials. They have
hired us to seek out an Engineering Projects Manager for their East
Stroudsburg, PA location. This position is responsible for leading
and overseeing manufacturing projects from design to completion,
ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Other responsibilities include Research options, design and prepare
full budgets for projects together with payback justifications
Prepare CAPEX forms for Divisional projects and review individual
plant CAPEXs for site/line improvements Continue the implementation
of "SHIRE" preventative maintenance system and ensure local
maintenance teams fully adopt Investigate alternative technologies
and evaluate usefulness within the business, while developing a
core divisional engineering team Qualifications include Bachelor's
degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
(demonstrated experience in the business may be acceptable in lieu
of this requirement) At least eight years of experience in
maintenance, quality, and/or manufacturing engineering or
management Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills with
proven project management experience Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills with excellent organizational abilities and
attention to detail Note: Travel is expected and could be as much
as 50%-75% to manage projects, meet with vendors and attend
