Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve in elementary schools within the Woodbridge Township area, including Sewaren and Iselin, NJ. These positions are for a 12-week maternity leave assignment starting in September 2026, offering a minimum of 35 hours per week onsite. Responsibilities include providing speech-language services to K-5 students, with a focus on populations with high Autism and preschool needs. Services will be delivered primarily in elementary school settings, requiring strong clinical skills tailored to diverse student needs. Qualifications and experience sought: NJ SLP License and valid NJ SLS Certification are required CCC credential holders are prioritized; Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CFs) are accepted but must arrange outside supervision since district supervision is not provided Experience working with Autism and preschool populations is highly desirable Candidates must hold appropriate certification and have experience in school-based speech therapy Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not considered for this role Locations Include: Matthew Jago Elementary (28) in Sewaren, NJ serving K-5 students with Autism and preschool needs Kennedy Park Elementary (24) in Iselin, NJ serving K-5 students with high Autism and preschool populations One additional elementary school position TBD within the district Benefits of this contract include an engaging school-based environment and the opportunity to work with diverse student populations in a supportive setting.
