Job Summary Details : The Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications : • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license • High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required Preferred Qualifications : • One (1) year of prior HVAC o mechanical technician experience is preferred • One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred Responsibilities : • Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts • Handle heavy workload of calls • Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return • Manage workload and job scheduling • Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork • Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs) • Keep manager informed of customer feedback • Communicate effectively and promptly • Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team • Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company • When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups • Report team performance issues to the Supervisor A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
