Job Description:
A longstanding Nursery is looking to hire a Head Grower . This

PTO, and so much more! Head Grower Responsibilities: Work with the
Inventory manager to help maintain quality and to consult with them
and sales manager as to when to turn on new plant material on
availability Develop written crop protocols for all varieties
including watering practices, temperature regulations, preventative
spray program, growth regulation program, pest potentials,
pinching/trimming requirements, fertilization requirements, optimal
light levels, etc. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, state and
federal regulations Ensure that the proper timings are in the plan
for all crops in all seasons Help maintain relationships with
vendors and seek out new when needed Head Grower Requirements:
Advanced plant and horticultural knowledge Negotiation skills
Ability to work independently, yet take a lead role in a team
oriented structure Proficient Computer Skills Excellent verbal
communication and listening skills Ability to lift or move up to 25
pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds High level of
organizational and planning skills with specific ability to
