ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a leading facilities services organization that has been around for 60 years, and they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team! Very relaxed and team-oriented work environment! There is often lunches on site, barbeques, and overall a strong sense of community here! The office is located in Fairfield, NJ and are going in daily. Position Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant ? Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. ? File and remit state and local sales tax returns. ? Manage fixed assets and lease accounting (ASC842). ? Collaborate with auditors and support process improvements. ? Work cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues. ? Maintain knowledge of accounting practices. Education & Qualifications of the Staff Accountant ? Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ? 2 years of accounting experience; CPA progress preferred. ? Big 4 and Sage Intacct experience preferred. ? Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills. ? Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment INJUN2025 LI-MW1 ZRCFS
