Job Description:
Senior Accountant CFS is partnering with an industry-leading
real estate redevelopment project in Brooklyn, NY, to hire a Senior
Accountant . This role offers an incredible opportunity to

Brooklyn Nets headquarters. Experience in commercial real estate is
highly favored and will distinguish candidates in this competitive
hiring process. Position Summary: The Senior Accountant will play a
pivotal role in managing the general ledger, conducting financial
statement analytics, and implementing policies and tools to enhance
automation and benchmarking. This is an exciting opportunity to

and financial excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform forensic
account analysis on financial reporting, balance sheets, and
related-party transactions. Maintain accounting integrity by
preparing and reviewing journal entries. Oversee cash management
and perform detailed bank reconciliations. Manage and consolidate
financial data for accurate accounting at both the consolidated and
unit levels. Assist in coordinating and preparing internal and
external financial statements. Collaborate with external auditors
to streamline auditing processes. Provide vital financial insights
to support management's decision-making. Oversee the budget
process, including automation using MRI software. Supervise
accounts payable, including credit card purchases, expense reports,
and coding. Assess and recommend improvements for accounting
operations and internal controls. Evaluate and enhance accounting
software functionality to improve processes and automation. Develop
and monitor business performance metrics. Support ad hoc projects
as required. Qualifications: 3-5 years of relevant experience,
preferably in a commercial real estate setting. Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of tax
and accrual reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office,
particularly Excel. Experience with MRI Software and Spreadsheet
Server is a plus.
